Bruins announce makeup dates for nine PPD games

While the NHL may not be sending its players to the Winter Olympics in Beijing next month, the league has at least announced rescheduled games for February.

The Boston Bruins, who had nine games postponed in all in December due to COVID-19, will make up seven of their games between Feb. 8-21, a span which was originally carved out for an Olympics break.

Instead of a home-and-home series with the expansion Seattle Kraken over 23 days between Feb. 1 at the TD Garden and Feb. 24 at Climate Pledge Arena, the Bruins will host the Pittsburgh Penguins on Feb. 8 and Carolina Hurricanes on Feb. 10 before embarking on a four-game road trip which both begins and ends in Ottawa.

Boston plays at the Senators on Feb. 12 before making two stops in New York on the 15th (Rangers) and 17th (Islanders) and returning to Canada's capital on the 19th.

The Bruins host the Colorado Avalanche on Feb. 21 before resuming their schedule as planned in Seattle.

In addition, Boston's two games in Montreal have been rescheduled, with the Canadiens hosting the Bruins on March 21 and April 24.
