Marchand leaves Bruins practice after taking shot to leg

BRIGHTON, Mass – The Bruins offense has struggled massively for the past few weeks and the hits just keep on coming for the Black and Gold. 

Brad Marchand was forced to leave B’s practice early on Saturday afternoon at Warrior Ice Arena after taking an Adam McQuaid blast off the knee and there was no update available on the left winger following the practice. 

The Bruins agitator did seem to be moving without any issues in the B’s dressing room following practice.

There was little update on Zdeno Chara, who is still considered “day-to-day” by the Bruins after having his lower body injury reevaluated on Saturday after missing the past two games. 

Claude Julien went back to his old standby lines at practice after mixing things up in the third period of the Friday night loss to the Calgary Flames. It appeared there would be few wrinkles for the rare home Sunday matinee against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
