Pats reconstruct space in south end zone for Super Bowl banners

Robert Kraft had said the Patriots were going to make some changes to Gillette Stadium to accommodate all the championship banners. He ain’t never lied.

Nearly a month after Kraft told Sirius XM that the Pats had a “high-class problem” as a result of their first four banners filling up all of their allocated space to hang them, the Pats tweeted a photo of a reconstructed space in the south end zone.

"We had a high-class problem because we had no more room to put banners. So we had to change the construction around, so we have a little surprise for our fans that night that should be very cool,” Kraft told NFL Radio, last month. “We're very excited."
