Gresh: ‘No clear exit strategy' for Brady or NFL

As if the entire Deflategate controversy wasn't complicated enough before what has seemed like a never ending appeal.

And now we have learned that the NFL and Tom Brady's camp have been negotiating a settlement while everyone awaits a decision from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Andy Gresh believes a the discussion of a settlement is a wise decision for both both sides.

"Both sides are up a creek with no paddle," said Gresh. "The reason they need to negotiate is because there's no clear exit strategy for either side. So they've got to work together to try to figure out how to mitigate the damage together. So the negotiating is more PR based than it is either guilt or innocence."
