Not only is MLB looking to shorten its games, but perhaps shorten its season.
Tony Massarotti and Jim Murray (in for Michael Felger), on the "Felger & Mazz" show on 98.5 The Sports Hub, discussed whether a shortened season should happen.
"Eight games is nothing," said Mazz. "The schedule used to be 154. You want to have a impact? Chop 18 games off the schedule...Give me more meaningful baseball and less nonsense in the regular season. I'd rather see postseason baseball than regular season baseball."
