With the departures of Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner in the offseason there have been questions surrounding the defensive backfield.
As the regular season approaches it's still unclear who will start opposite of Malcolm Butler at the other cornerback position.
"The guy I'm still keeping my eye on is the new guy that we haven't seen much of, Tarell Brown," said Volin. "I think they signed him for a reason. I think he provides a good solid veteran presence. He has started a lot of games in this league."
No matter who gets the nod in Game 1, Volin doesn't expect it to be the same person starting all 16 games opposite Butler.
"I don't think it's going to be a regular thing. I don't think it's going to be Butler and a certain player for 16 games, I think it's going to be a 'hot hand' kind of deal."
