With ample time before next Sunday’s Super Bowl LII, Gronkowski has now stayed off the practice field for each of this week’s sessions as he recovers from a concussion. The Patriots are still set to hold at least one more practice (a rare Saturday session) before leaving for Minneapolis Monday.

Gronkowski suffered his concussion in the first half of the AFC Championship on a hit from Barry Church. Multiple reports have cited optimism that he will be able to play against the Eagles in Minneapolis, but for now, he remains in the concussion protocol.
