Kusnierek: Are Judge Doty's comments a good sign for Brady?

The NFL avoided having to sit in front of Judge David Doty during the Deflategate proceedings, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be heard from.

On Wednesday, Doty admitted that he is keeping an eye on the case and even criticized Roger Goodell when he said, “I’m not sure the commissioner understands there is a CBA.”

Doty's comments are out there, but will they make an impact on the ongoing Deflategate case?

"To me, it doesn't hold any weight," said Trenni Kusnierek on Arbella Early Edition. "I'm not looking at this and saying, 'this absolutely means this is it. Tom Brady is getting off. This is going to influence Judge Richard Berman. This has changed the whole dynamic.' I look at this as a flippant, sort of childish remark because he can. It's snarky."
