We hear it every year in training camp, "this guy looks great," or "this guy is doesn't have it."
So with training camp in full swing, Andy Hart joined Sports Tonight to play a game of "hype or ripe," and he started with Malcolm Butler.
""I'm a little bit more of a doubter than some, but he's had a really, really strong summer," explained Hart. "Confidence has been a really big thing with him. Jawing with Julian Edelman, jawing with Tom Brady… He oozes confidence. Does that mean he's necessarily going to be great? The guy has started one career game. People forget that. He has one career start and suddenly he's your left corner replacing Darrelle Revis."
