According to CSN's Mike Giardi, the Patriots have an offer on the table for free agent running back LeGarrette Blount.
Blount, 30, signed a one-year deal with the Patriots after his 2015 season ended early after a hip injury. He bounced back in 2016 with career-highs in attempts (299) yards (1,161) and touchowns (18).
Dion Lewis, James White, Rex Burkhead, Brandon Bolden and DJ Foster currently make up the Patriots depth chart at running back.
