You're at your local YMCA, and you and your buddies are killing it in three-on-three pickup basketball. After you handle another woebegone trio, a new group steps up to take their place.
One guy is in his early 50s and battling a bit of a paunch, another is in his late 30s and wearing khaki shorts. You laugh and shrug your shoulders. You know they have no shot. They know they have no shot. But you go ahead with the exercise anyway. It's the polite thing to do. And you have a winning streak to protect.
What happened today in the Bahamas at Bakers Bay Golf and Ocean Club was like that scenario in some ways, but completely different in most others.
Barstool Sports published a handful of photos and one brief video of Tom Brady and Michael Jordan teaming up in a three-on-three game Saturday afternoon, which you can find here.
PGA Championship winner Keegan Bradley also took part in the game -- it looked like he was matched up on Brady defensively -- but with two of the best athletes to ever play their sports also out on the floor at the same time, he might have gone unnoticed by those happy few in attendance.
Jordan appeared confident as ever, and in Barstool's video he follows up on one of his patented fade-away jumpers with some easy-flowing trash talk. Brady, sporting a backwards TB12 baseball cap and high-tops, looks like he's played some hoop in his day, driving to the basket with his left hand in one of the images.

It's hard to get a sense of just how the game played out based on the pictures alone, but with 10 championship rings between Brady and Jordan, two of the most competitive athletes in recent history, it's safe to say it was something more than a leisurely half-court shoot-around.
