Tacko Fall among Celtics rookies taking in Patriots-Steelers pre-game atmosphere

The Boston Celtics are well-represented at Sunday night's NFL season-opening game between the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Celtics center Tacko Fall, guard Carsen Edwards and forward Grant Williams, all rookies, are in the house prior to the 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff.

Williams, Fall and Edwards have quickly earned the approval of Celtics fans during their brief tenures with the franchise.

Fall, in particular, has captured the hearts of fans across New England. The 7-foot-6 center impressed in Boston's Las Vegas Summer League tournament and will compete for one of the Celtics' final roster spots in training camp. Williams could play a key role off the bench this season as a versatile forward capable of playing multiple positions at both ends of the court. Edwards' outside shooting could make him a useful reserve as well.

These three Celtics rookies are in for a good show Sunday night with the Patriots set to unveil their Super Bowl LIII championship banner during a special pre-game ceremony before taking on the Steelers.
