Mannix: Lee's numbers not because of ‘diminishing skills'

The Boston Celtics acquired David Lee from the Golden State Warriors in exchange for Gerald Wallace on Tuesday.

With his numbers dropping last season for the NBA Champions, what will he have left for the Celtics?

"I think he has a lot left. David Lee's numbers diminished last season because he got hurt early on and his place in the rotation was taken up my Draymond Green," said Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated. "That was not a reflection of David Lee and any diminishing skills whatsoever. He's going to come into the Boston lineup next year and I think be what David Lee has been for the last four of five years, which is a consistent 16-18 point per game scorer, an eight to ten rebound-type player."
