The Red Sox will be without closer Koji Uehara, who's reportedly headed to the disabled list after being hit on the wrist by a line drive Friday.

The Boston Globe's Peter Abraham reported that the team will make the announcement later Monday.

In Friday's 7-2 win against Detroit, Ian Kinsler's liner hit Uehara on the wrist. Uehara threw the ball to first to record the final out of the game and flew back to Boston Sunday for testing.
