It's only been two starts, but the Red Sox have seen a strong showing from prospect Henry Owens.
The 23-year-old lefty has pitched 10 innings with a 3.60 ERA, seven strikeouts, five walks and is holding opposing hitters to a .216 batting average.
"Well, recognizing that we’re just talking about two starts so far, but one of the things I’ve been impressed with is that we worried was the fastball good enough to keep people off the changeup, which is his out pitch," Sean McAdam said. " So far, there were also issues earlier in the year with command and falling behind on hitters. Through two starts, so far so good. You have to like what you’ve seen so far."
