Texans don't want to be one-dimensional with Foster

When you think of the Houston Texans, you think of Arian Foster.

The running back has rushed for 1,102 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, and is one of the most dangerous offensive threats in the NFL.

But Texans coach Gary Kubiak doesn't want to enter Gillette Stadium with the mindset that Foster will be his team's biggest strength against the Patriots on Monday night.

"I think it's important that your team knows it can win a lot of ways," said Kubiak in a conference call on Thursday morning. "I think if you're locked into 'this is how we win, this is our only strength,' I think that those things catch up with you. So, we obviously would like to be a balanced football team. Everything we do kind of starts with us running the ball. But we've been caught in some shootouts where we've had to go out there and throw it 55, 60 times, too. So, I don't think you ever know what type of game you're going to get in, but I think it's important that your team has confidence that they can win all kinds of ways."
