NBA rumors: Celtics interested in trading for Cavs' No. 5 draft pick

We've already seen a few teams in the top 10 of the 2019 NBA Draft move down in the first round, and the Cleveland Cavaliers could be the next team to trade out of that range before Thursday's event begins.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Thursday night that the Cavs are listening to offers for the No. 5 pick. Cleveland.com's Chris Fedor reported the Celtics are among the teams with interest in acquiring the selection.

The Celtics reportedly were interested in trading with the Pelicans for the No. 4 pick, but New Orleans dealt it to the Atlanta Hawks for a package of multiple draft picks Thursday. Boston's reported target if it got the No. 4 pick was Vanderbilt guard Darius Garland. The Hawks reportedly are eyeing Virginia's De'Andre Hunter or Duke's Cam Reddish at No. 4, so maybe the Celtics would consider a move to No. 5 if Garland was still on the board.

The C's enter the 2019 draft with three first-round picks at No. 14, No. 20  and No. 22.
