FIBA World Cup 2019 schedule: When to watch Celtics-led Team USA in action

We're still almost two months away from the NBA regular season.

But several Boston Celtics players will be involved in some meaningful basketball games over the next two weeks.

The 2019 FIBA World Cup kicks off in China this weekend, as 32 countries will battle for basketball supremacy between Aug. 31 and Sept. 15.

A strong Celtics contingent of Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart leads Team USA into Group E play, where the Americans will open with the Czech Republic on Sunday.

Here are the dates, times and TV info for Team USA's three Group Stage games:

Sunday, Sept. 1: Team USA vs. Czech Republic, 8:30 a.m. ET, ESPN+
Tuesday, Sept. 3: Team USA at Turkey, 8:30 a.m. ET, ESPN+
Thursday, Sept. 5: Team USA vs. Japan, 8:30 a.m. ET, ESPN+
