The Red Sox's pitching rotation fell apart this season. With the attention mostly on next season already, the question is how will the Red Sox bolster the rotation?
Are guys like soon-to-be free agents Johnny Cueto or David Price attractive options?
"I’d pass," Lou Merloni said. "I know we criticize the Red Sox for their pitchers over 30, and I still believe Jon Lester should’ve been an exception because you had so much information on him…but there is some proof to that philosophy. Johnny Cueto is going to have to transition to a guy that doesn’t have that power fastball, same with a guy like David Price and I don’t know if they’re capable of that."
