Bruins vs. Leafs Game 7: Projected lines, pairings for first-round finale

Share

The Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs fittingly will end their first-round 2019 Stanley Cup playoff series with a Game 7 matchup Tuesday night at TD Garden.

It's the second consecutive season and third time this decade that the B's and Leafs will end a thrilling first-round series with a Game 7.

The Bruins won't make any chances from their Game 6 lineup, head coach Bruce Cassidy said Tuesday morning. This means forwards David Backes and Chris Wagner will be healthy scratches.

Here is Cassidy's reasoning for not changing the lineup after Sunday's 4-2 win in Toronto.

Leafs center Zach Hyman, who has taken a lot of physical punishment this series, was not at the Leafs' morning skate. The Leafs have not officially ruled him out, so we'll have to wait until closer to puck drop for more on Hyman's status.

Here are the projected  lineups for both teams.
