
Brian Ferentz is headed back to college. The Patriots tight ends coach in 2011 is joining the staff at Iowa after helping the Patriots tight ends to a record-setting season.
Ferentz, 28, played at Iowa under his father Kirk. He joined the Patriots' staff in 2010 as an offensive assistant working primarily with the tight ends in the rookie year of Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez. He was given the title "tight ends coach" this past season.
