SAN ANTONIOThe Boston Celtics looked as though they were running in shoes of cement against Houston Friday night, a step slow in just about every phase of the game.
Things won't get any easier tonight against a Spurs team that like Boston, is trying to get back on track after a disappointing loss.
San Antonio, still one of the top teams in the Western Conference, are coming off a 98-90 loss at Portland on Thursday which was there second straight loss - the first time they dropped back-to-back games this season.

In recent weeks, the Celtics have shown the ability to shrug off most losses because in most of those games, there was usually tangible signs of growth.
But the mindset among most players was this two-game set in Texas would be their opportunity to turn their solid play of late into a nice winning streak.
However, Friday's loss was a microcosm of their season with some really good moments overshadowed by lengthy stretches of bad play.
"I thought we had our opportunities," said Paul Pierce. "We're still trying to put four quarters together. That's what we need to do. You can't play (well) every other quarter and expect to win games."
Especially on the road against the Spurs who are once again one of the better teams at home this season.
Here are some of the keys to tonight's game as the C's try to cap off their Texas two-step with rare win over the Spurs who are 21-7 against Boston since Tim Duncan was a rookie during the 1997-1998 season.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR: Rajon Rondo had a near triple-double of points (15), assists (13) and sadly, turnovers (seven) in the Rockets loss. Look for him to do a much better job in terms of limiting his miscues despite San Antonio's better-than-average defense.
MATCHUP TO WATCH: Kevin Garnett vs Tim Duncan. Two of the greatest big men of this generation, every opportunity to see these two champions duel it out in the twilight of their careers should be cherished.
PLAYER TO WATCH: Do not be surprised if Paul Pierce has one of those statement-type performances. He had 18 points against Houston, but did so shooting 5-for-18 from the field. Knowing the Houston loss was a step back in the team's develop and growth this season, look for the Captain to try and get the C's back on track.
STAT TO TRACK: The Spurs have evolved into an offensive power, averaging 104.8 points per game which ranks second in the NBA. Keeping them under 100 points scored is the key to beating them, evident by four of their six losses this season coming when they fail to reach triple digits scoring.
