Tuukka Rask exits Bruins-Rangers with concussion after nasty collision

The New York Rangers' first goal Saturday night came at a cost for Tuukka Rask.

Rangers forward Filip Chytil barreled into the Boston Bruins goaltender after scoring a goal late in the first period of Saturday's game at TD Garden.

Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy sent Chytil airborne with a hit right in front of Rask, and the B's netminder took the brunt of the collision, falling backward and appearing to hit his head on the right goalpost.

Rask remained on the ice for some time before skating off with the help of team trainers.

Backup goaltender Jaroslav Halak entered the game in his place.

UPDATE (8:35 p.m. ET): The Bruins announced Rask has suffered a concussion and will not return.
