This Patrice Bergeron sequence at 2019 Winter Classic was Selke-esque

Patrice Bergeron needed all of 30 seconds Tuesday to prove why he's one of the best two-way players in hockey.

The Boston Bruins center had an incredible sequence late in the second period of the 2019 NHL Winter Classic at Notre Dame Stadium. First, he stymied David Kampf on a short-handed breakaway by lifting the Chicago Blackhawks forward's stick at the last second.

Less than a minute later, he buried a backhanded attempt on the power play to tie the score at 2-2. Here's the full sequence:

Bergeron has won the Selke Trophy as the NHL's best defensive forward four times in his career, and that number could increase to five if he keeps making plays like this.
