FOXBORO -- All but one Patriots player were present at the beginning of Wednesday's fully-padded practice at Gillette Stadium, as the team prepares for its Week 1 game with the Miami Dolphins on Monday night.
That one player was offensive lineman Sebastian Vollmer, who did not play in the Patriots final preseason game and has not practiced since.
If Vollmer is unavailable for Monday night's game against the Dolphins, rookie Nate Solder would most likely fill in at right tackle. It would be a baptism by fire for Solder if he is tasked with blocking Dolphins elite pass-rusher Cameron Wake.
