FOXBORO -- Amidst the postgame hoopla inside the Patriots locker room after Sunday night's win, was the presence of an unoccupied, yet still intact locker of Deion Branch.
The veteran wide receiver was released by the team on Saturday in order to make room on the roster for newly-acquired cornerback Aqib Talib for Sunday's game against the Colts. Still, Branch's nameplate remained present over his locker, which was still filled with personal belongings. It's perhaps an indicator that Branch could be returning at some point this season.
And it wouldn't be the first time that Branch would be involved in that type of situation this season.

Branch was among the Patriots' final cuts coming out of the preseason, yet, his locker remained intact, as he re-signed prior to Week 3.
