Both teams swept their first-round series to advance to Round 2. Boston made quick work of a Philadelphia 76ers team without All-Star point guard Ben Simmons, while Toronto had little trouble eliminating a banged up Brooklyn Nets squad. The C's and Raptors both closed their Round 1 series with Game 4 wins Sunday.
The Celtics won three of four games versus the Raptors during the regular season. Boston's best performance in the Orlando bubble actually came against Toronto in its fifth seeding game. The C's dominated the Raptors in a 122-100 win on Aug. 7. Boston had seven players score in double digits that night, led by Jaylen Brown's 20 points.
This second-round series should go six or seven games. These are two pretty even teams that are both extremely well coached and play with a ton of effort/intensity at both ends of the floor.
