There are still a few weeks before the 2023 MLB regular season ends but that didn't stop the Atlanta Braves from sliding into a playoff spot.
The dominant Braves became the first team to secure a postseason berth after rallying past the Pirates on Sept. 10.
Since then, several other teams have punched their ticket and many more are on the verge of following suit.

The Braves and Dodgers have clinched their divisions, winning the NL East and NL West, respectively. In the AL, the Orioles and Rays have clinched a postseason berth but are still battling for the AL East title. As of Sept. 18, those four teams are the only ones to secure their playoff spot.
