Two minutes in the penalty box may not be enough for Bruins winger Milan Lucic, after his charging penalty on Sabres goalie, Ryan Miller.
Lucic took out Miller in the first period of the B's 6-2 win Saturday night, prompting the Buffalo goalie to stick around after the game and express his anger towards Lucic and the hit.
Miller came out of net to contest Lucic's breakaway. After he knocked the puck away, Lucic immediately laid into Miller.
It was also reported on Sunday that Miller sustained a concussion due to the hit.
Now, Lucic could get hit himself -- with a suspension.
TSN's Bob Mackenzie tweets, "BOS's Milan Lucic has a 1 pm ET hearing tomorrow with NHL disciplinarian Brendan Shanahan for his hit on BOS's Ryan Miller."
There's no word yet on what exactly the suspension -- if any -- would be, but the fact that there is a meeting between Lucic and Shanahan points towards some sort of action being taken.
