One day after returning to the Bruins lineup, David Krejci said he was feeling the usual day-after soreness but nothing like a re-aggravation of the core issue that sidelined him for three games.
Krejci didnt score any points, but said he had fun skating with Rich Peverley and Benoit Pouliot. After all, who doesnt have fun when your team posts six goals on the board and once again ruin the Boston return of wayward sniper Phil Kessel.
I felt pretty good," Krejci said. "A little sore this morning, but I was pretty happy. It took me a whole toyou knowget going. But the thing is as the game was going on I felt better even though I didnt get on the scoresheet. I was good on the draws and I was having fun. It was really fun yesterday. It was good to get back and get a feel.
Krejci was once again skating with the speedy Peverley and the high energy Pouliot during a Friday practice at TD Garden, and he was concentrating on the Saturday night date with the Sharks no matter who is skating on either side of him. Krejci and Peverley in particular could really do some damage together if they can get a true feel for each others game. Just go back and review some of the plays made once Peverley had stepped in for Nathan Horton in the Cup Finals on that top line, and its obvious Krejcis creativity could be bolstered in a big way by Peverleys jets.
I dont know what the lineup is going to look like tomorrow, but we won so Im assuming its going to look the same, said Krejci. We had fun in practice, so Im going to look forward to the game.
Krejci has just a single point and a minus-3 in four games for the Bruins, but he wasnt dwelling on any offensive slow-going for the Bs. Instead he was taking pride in a dominant night in the face-off dot that illustrates just how good Krejci is all phases of the outside from setting up the offensive play.
Krejci took 11-of-17 draws in Thursday nights shellacking of the Maple Leafs, and is winning at more than a 60 percent clip this season in a center-centered forward group for the Black and Gold.

Nothing was bothering me at all. I was winning them and I felt good about that, said Krejci. When youre winning them youre holding on to the puck rather than chasing it. Thats a good thing.
I know my game could be better on the puck, but for my first game back I was pretty about all of it.
With a game under his belt and fun back in the equation, now might be a good time for Krejci to join some of his teammates on the scoring binges theyll attempt to carryover from Kesselmania Part Seven.
