Friday, Nov. 4: Steve Dangle's podcast

Share

*Steve Dangle has a podcast about something that I’m sure is hockey-related, but I must admit I haven’t listened to it. I’m sure it’s entertaining, though.

*PHT writer James O’Brien has Matthew Tkachuk sticking with the Calgary Flames and coming up big in his first game as a permanent NHL fixture.

*FOH (Friend of Haggs) takes a look at potential hot seat situations across the NHL, including Dean Lombardi in Los Angeles and Peter Laviolette in Nashville.

*A family of Maple Leafs fans named each of their five children after grinders throughout the history of the Leafs franchise.

*The Vancouver Canucks have a problem and that problem is their offense as they once again can’t muster any against the Senators.

*Speaking of the Senators, Mike Condon has stepped in for Craig Anderson and did a nice job pitching a shutout in his first appearance.

*Jamie Benn is used to fighting injury and playing at less than 100 percent, and he’s in that situation right now.

*For something completely different: the situation with the Harvard soccer teams is unfortunate and really a little shocking actually given the type of student-athletes that school is supposed to attract.
