Will Super Bowl LIII be Rob Gronkowski's final game?
Gronkowski said during Super Bowl LIII Opening Night he still is unsure whether he will decide to hang 'em up when the Patriots season concludes, but Troy Brown said Tuesday on Arbella Early Edition he believes Gronk indeed will retire.
"My opinion is you do see [Gronkowski] walk away from this," Brown said. "I think those guys are still knocking on his door. Those guys that were talking to him last year, [John] Cena and The Rock and all those guys. You know, 'Hey, come live this life.'
"He made a comment during the season this year about how, you know, when you're playing this game when you're healthy, it's fun, and it's not when you're not healthy. So I don't think he was having fun for a few weeks during the season. It makes it tough to play this game at a high level."
Gronkowski wasn't his dominant self throughout the season, but has stepped it up recently including an impressive performance in the AFC Championship Game against the Chiefs. Perhaps another standout performance could convince the Patriots tight end to return for at least one more year.
