New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's ability to raise his performance when it matters most in the playoffs separates him from the other legendary players in NFL history.
For instance, take a look at the stats from his last 16 playoff games, or as ESPN's Adam Schefter notes below, the same amount of games as a regular season.
Simply incredible.
Brady's last two games were two of his best:
Super Bowl LII vs. Philadelphia Eagles: 28-for-48, 505 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT
AFC Divisional Round vs. Los Angeles Chargers: 34-for-44, 343 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT
Brady's next postseason challenge is Sunday in the AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs defense has struggled all season, and Brady carved it up in a Week 6 win for 340 yards and a touchdown. He'll need a similarly strong performance to help the Patriots beat the Chiefs again, this time on the road, for a berth in Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta.
