Pats-Raiders inactives: Waller to play while Stidham sits again

The Las Vegas Raiders' two most potent offensive weapons indeed will play against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

Raiders tight end Darren Waller and running back Josh Jacobs officially are active for the team's Week 3 contest at Gillette Stadium. Both players were listed as questionable Friday with knee and hip injuries, respectively.

Meanwhile, Jarrett Stidham's 2020 debut will have to wait, as the Patriots have ruled out their backup quarterback for the third week. Veteran Brian Hoyer will serve as Cam Newton's backup.

Newton won't have running back James White, who is out again Sunday after the tragic death of his father last weekend. Wide receivers Julian Edelman (knee) and N'Keal Harry (ankle) are both active for Sunday's 1 p.m. clash with the 2-0 Raiders.
