New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is climbing up the NFL's career passing yards leaderboard.
The 42-year-old quarterback passes Green Bay Packers legend Brett Favre on Sunday for third place on the all-time list. Brady only has former rival Peyton Manning and New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees ahead of him.
Here's the updated leaderboard:
1. Drew Brees: 74,845 yards
2. Peyton Manning: 71,940
3. Tom Brady: 71,923
4. Brett Favre: 71,838
5. Dan Marino: 61,361
Brees has not played for the Saints since he suffered a thumb injury in Week 2, but he is expected to return at some point this season. His record seems safe for now.
Brady should pass Manning on Thursday night when the Patriots play the New York Giants at Gillette Stadium in Week 6.
