With every postseason win, the Patriots seem to set new NFL records, whether its team or individual marks.
Tom Brady, the longest tenured Patriot on the roster, will play in his ninth Super Bowl, extending his own record. It is also his 236th career win in both the regular season and postseason tying kicker Adam Vinatieri for the most wins in NFL history.
Speaking of kickers, Stephen Gostkowski will make his sixth Super Bowl, tying former Bills and Broncos kicker Mike Lodish for second most Super Bowl appearances by a kicker in NFL history.
Matthew Slater and Devin McCourty will also join an exclusive club of players to make it to five Super Bowls. There are only 18 players to accomplish this feat, including five other current or former Patriots players (Brady, Gostkowski, Tedy Bruschi, Matt Light and Adam Vinatieri).
Making it to another Super Bowl made for more milestones for the Patriots and its current players. Another Super Bowl win, and we'll be right back in this spot reading the Patriots at the top of many NFL record books.
