Did Sean Payton wear a Goodell clown shirt to his press conference?

Sean Payton appeared to have a message for NFL commissioner Roger Goodell at his season wrapup press conference on Wednesday.

The Saints coach, who of course was none too happy with the lack of a pass interference call in the NFC Championship Game loss that sent the Rams to the Super Bowl to face the Patriots, appeared to have a Goodell clown t-shirt on under his zip-up pullover as he addressed the media.

Our friends at NBC Sports Philadelphia are on the case:

It's a coaches' fashion choice originally made famous by Matt Patricia, the former Patriots defensive coordinator and current Detroit Lions head coach. At the time Patricia wore it, the shirt reportedly raised the ire of the commish.

At his annual end of the year presser at the Super Bowl, Goodell did acknowledge the officials' error on the play.
