Just when Chiefs fans were beginning to move on from Dee Ford's critical AFC title game mistake, he reminded them all of what happened on that fateful Sunday.
Ford's offsides penalty vs the Patriots in the AFC Championship ultimately cost the Chiefs a trip to the Super Bowl. The defensive end was called for the neutral zone infraction on the same play Tom Brady threw what looked to be a dagger of an interception. Instead, the Patriots were given another chance, and they took advantage by tying the game late in the fourth quarter and beating Kansas City in overtime.
Fast-forward to the Pro Bowl a week later, and history nearly repeated itself. Ford lined up offsides, albeit in a much less crucial situation, and he corrected his mistake at the last second.

Ford was utterly confused following his offsides penalty in the AFC Championship Game, but he was more aware this time around. Unfortunately for Chiefs fans, that isn't much of a consolation.
