Some players will just never learn.

Giving the New England Patriots bulletin board material has proven many times to just be an awful idea. The Patriots love that kind of smack talk and use it as fuel. They've already used it to their advantage this season against the Buffalo Bills.

Landry attempted to clarify his comments, but the damage likely is already done.

The Patriots are 7-0 and opened as double-digit betting favorites over the Browns. Cleveland came into the 2019 season as a popular pick to make the playoffs after an impressive finish to the 2018 campaign. The Browns, however, have been among the biggest disappointments in the league this season with a 2-4 record entering Week 8.
