Bill Belichick is not a frills guy. He's not a fashion guy. He's not a "Ooh, that's your color!" guy.
That means that when the NFL and Nike come together to help Thursday night football games create a different look by dressing teams in "color-rush" jerseys, the Patriots head coach probably isn't going to care for it.

Belichick's team beat the Texans 27-0 wearing new all-blue uniforms last night, but he was quick to point out that what players wore had nothing to do with their performance. And he did it in a way that only he can.
"Yeah, I wish that was all there was to it. Just put on a new pair of socks and change uniforms or something like that. There's a lot more to it than that," Belichick deadpanned. "I can't even tell you how excited I was about the uniforms last night. It was really incredible."
At least the results for the Patriots were better than they were the last time they wore all blue. That was back in 2002 when then-Patriots safety Lawyer Milloy went to Belichick to ask him about changing up the uniform pattern. They wore blue jerseys and blue pants against both the Packers and the Bills in back-to-back games. They lost both, contributing to a four-game losing streak.
"Yeah," Belichick said. "That was brutal."
