Wide receiver is an area the New England Patriots could target in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft class, based on roster needs and the impressive depth/talent at the position in this year's class.
One of the top players who could be available when the Patriots are on the clock at No. 21 overall is Arkansas wideout Treylon Burks.

Burks confirmed Tuesday that he has met with the Patriots at the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis this week.
He also noted it would be an "honor" to play for Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.
One of Burks' best traits is his size. At 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, he's one of the biggest wide receivers who could go in the first round.
Burks tallied 66 receptions for 1,104 yards with 11 touchdowns over 12 games for the Razorbacks last season. His best performance came against an excellent Alabama defense on Nov. 20 when he posted eight receptions for 179 yards and two touchdowns.
The Patriots have met with several other wideouts at the Scouting Combine, too, including Alabama's Jon Metchie and Slade Bolden.
