The Red Sox came to a three-year 39 million deal with Mike Napoli in winter meetings, but here we are and the two sides don't have a contract.
A report from Fox Sports says that it's Napoli's hip that has become an issue for the Red Sox, and it's holding up a deal.
Meanwhile, other first basemen like Nick Swisher and Adam LaRoche are still on the market, and if Napoli has a hip issue, he most likely won't catch as much as was previously thought.
