The Patriots announced on Wednesday that they have re-signed three former practice squad players back to the practice squad.
Receiver Kamar Aiken and running back James Develin were released from the Patriots' 53-man roster on Monday, but both are now back on the practice squad.
Aiken was on the Patriots practice squad for about a month before he was signed to the 53-man roster before New England's game with Jacksonville. He played three snaps against the Jags, according to ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss.
Develin, a product of Brown University, was on the practice squad for almost three months before being signed to the 53-man roster at the end of November. He saw time as a special teamer against the San Francisco 49ers two weeks ago.
The Patriots also brought back Cyhl Quarles, a defensive back who was on New England's practice squad for a little over two weeks in September.
