Might Pierce ship overseas?

With no NBA season for at least another month, you can expect more and more players to have their agents inquire about playing overseas.

Boston Celtics forward Paul Pierce appears to be no exception.

A Spanish radio station is reporting that the Boston Celtics captain is drawing some interest from at least two teams, Unicaja Malaga and CAI Zaragoza.

The station, Radio Marca, indicated that Pierce has expressed a desire to play in Spain.

One of the biggest hurdles for either team to land Pierce, will be insurance.

'The Truth' signed a four-year, 61.3 million contract in July of 2010. He was due to make 15.3 million this season. It's hard to imagine that Pierce will bolt for Spain without the proper coverage in case of an injury.
