Former Boston Celtics center Kendrick Perkins is ready to turn his life around.
The NBA champion hasn't necessarily had a rough life, but since retiring from basketball nearly two years ago, Perkins said in a tweet he has gained about 75 pounds.
After the doctor told him he needs to get healthy, the 35-year-old took matters into his own hands and shared a very inspirational video on Twitter Saturday afternoon.
Of course, any athlete will be more fit when they're still playing the game they love, but Perkins' video should be a source of inspiration for everyone right now -- especially with the COVID-19 outbreak shutting down gyms and athletic facilities across the country.
After all, they do say "no excuses."
