Jayson Tatum sets postseason record in first half of Game 5 vs. Bucks

With a pair of 3-point shots in the first half against the Milwaukee Bucks, Jayson Tatum has set yet another age-related record for the Boston Celtics.

With two makes -- on 10 attempts, his most ever in a half -- Tatum set a record for most 3-pointers made by an NBA player in the postseason before their 25th birthday, moving past draft classmate Donovan Mitchell for the new mark.

Jaylen Brown, who turned 25 last October, entered the top five during the 2020 postseason for the Celtics and likely could have moved further up the list if not for an injury which kept him out of the 2021 playoffs.

With Mitchell and his Utah Jazz eliminated from the postseason, Tatum can create some space between the competition and whoever approaches the mark next with a deep run for Boston. This postseason will be the last for Tatum before turning 25, however, as he celebrates a quarter century on March 3, 2023.
