The Boston Celtics will host the New York Knicks Wednesday night at TD Garden and hope for different results this time around.
Back on Jan. 17, a Jayson Tatum-less C's team suffered a 105-75 blowout loss to New York. Tatum will be active for the rematch, though Boston will be without two of its most important players.
Evan Fournier (health and safety protocols) and Kemba Walker (left knee injury management) are ruled out for the Eastern Conference showdown. On the bright side for the C's, big man Tristan Thompson finally is available after missing the last 13 games due to health and safety protocols.

Forsberg: Any optimism about a Celtics season turnaround has vanished
Both the Celtics and Knicks hold a 25-26 record on the season and are 5-5 in their last 10 games. To take down New York on Wednesday night, Boston will have to limit All-Star forward Julius Randle. Through 50 games, Randle is averaging 22.9 points and 10.8 rebounds.
