Led by Jayson Tatum, who dropped a career-high 39 points, the Boston Celtics defeated the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday to extend their winning streak to three games.
Here are three instant overreactions from the 119-93 victory, which brings the C's to 20-7 on the season.
1. This was a preview of what's to come for Romeo Langford.
Verdict: Slight overreaction
Celtics fans absolutely should be optimistic after what Langford displayed on Sunday. The rookie was solid on both ends of the floor as he finished with eight points (3-for-6 shooting), four rebounds, and a block in 23 minutes.
We just need to see consistency out of the Celtics' 2019 first-round draft pick, and much of that has to do with his durability. Langford has dealt with multiple nagging injuries dating back to the summer, so we'll need the 20-year-old to stay healthy for a while before we jump to any conclusions regarding his potential as an impactful player for Boston.

2. Jayson Tatum showing he's capable of superstardom.
Boston Celtics
Verdict: Not an overreaction
What a night it was for Tatum, who tallied 12 rebounds and three blocks to go along with his career-best 39 points.
The 21-year-old continues to show us all what he's capable of becoming: a true superstar in this league. There have been some cold stretches this season, but overall Tatum has taken the leap C's fans had hoped he would take in Year 3 of his career.
3. Speaking of stars, Devonte Graham is turning into one.
Verdict: Not an overreaction
On the Hornets side, it was Graham putting on a show and making life difficult for the Celtics' defense.
Graham dropped 23 points (6-for-13 shooting) to go with 10 assists, further establishing himself as a Most Improved Player candidate. The 24-year-old is now averaging 19.2 points and 7.4 assists on the campaign. He won't be under-the-radar for much longer.
