Crazy stat shows how locked-in Celtics offense is right now

The last time the Celtics were putting up points at this rate, Larry Bird, Kevin McHale and Robert Parish actually were walking through that door.

Boston's 128-100 win over the Knicks Thursday night was their fourth straight, tying a season-high -- and it was the C's fourth straight game scoring at least 115 points. The last time that happened, only five current Celtics were even alive.

The Celtics have averaged 124.5 points over this four-game win streak, almost 20 points per game higher than their 106.3 ppg average over the first 20 games of the season.

Next up for this offensive juggernaut is a Saturday night matchup against the Bulls in Chicago.
