No team was able to put together a godfather offer for Bradley Beal or secure Lonzo Ball for the postseason, but Victor Oladipo did find himself changing teams yet again.
The Orlando Magic jumped out of the gates as the biggest NBA trade deadline seller with a fire sale that sent Nikola Vucevic to the Chicago Bulls, Evan Fournier to the Boston Celtics and Aaron Gordon to the Denver Nuggets.

Drummond to join Lakers after Cavs buyout
After agreeing to a contract buyout with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Andre Drummond will join the Los Angeles Lakers, according to his agent. Other teams that were rumored to be contending for him on the buyout market included the New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors.

LaMarcus Aldridge reportedly will sign a one-year, veteran's minimum deal with the Brooklyn Nets after completing a buyout with the San Antonio Spurs.
A number of teams, including the Miami Heat, reached out to the 35-year-old forward. The Portland Trail Blazers were also said to be in the mix for Aldridge, but reportedly never met with him.
Aldridge will join a stacked Nets team featuring Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kyrie Irving and Blake Griffin, who are listed as a plus-250 favorite to win the NBA title this season, according to PointsBet.
Cavs, Drummond reach buyout agreement
Andre Drummond reportedly has become a free agent after agreeing to a contract buyout with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Los Angles Lakers, New York Knicks, and Boston Celtics are all rumored to be contending for the two-time All Star's services on the buyout market.
Spurs complete buyout with Aldridge
LaMarcus Aldridge finalized a buyout with the San Antonio Spurs, but Blazers fans shouldn't get their hopes up about a possible reunion. Powell, 27, is scoring a career-high 19.6 points per game and has started 31 games for the Raptors. He joins Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum as part of a lethal Portland's backcourt.

It wouldn't be the NBA trade deadline without Thunder GM Sam Presti adding to his team's horde of draft picks. With this three-team trade -- the first of this year's deadline, Oklahoma City now owns 17 first-round picks and 17 second-round draft picks over the next seven years.

Orlando gets: Jeff Teague, two second-round picks
The Celtics acquired Magic guard Evan Fournier in exchange for two second-round picks. Fournier averaged 19.7 points this season and gives Boston another piece in their backcourt along with Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker.

Bulls land Nikola Vucevic for Wendell Carter Jr., Otto Porter
The Chicago Bulls have made the first big splash of the 2021 NBA trade deadline by reportedly acquiring Nikola Vucevic from the Magic for Wendell Carter Jr., Otto Porter, and two first-round draft picks. The Bulls also will get Al-Farouq Aminu as part of the trade.
According to NBC Sports Chicago's K.C. Johnson, the Bulls haven't given up on their pursuit of Lonzo Ball.

The Denver Nuggets acquired JaVale McGee from the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Isaiah Hartenstein, a protected 2023 second-round pick and an unprotected 2027 second-round pick.
McGee averaged 8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game off the bench for Cleveland this season.
Gordon 'eager' to be traded to Celtics
Aaron Gordon reportedly would welcome a trade to the Celtics. While the Celtics are rumored to be the frontrunners to land Gordon, the Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers are also contenders in the Gordon sweepstakes.
Kings acquire Wright from Pistons for Joseph, picks

Detroit gets: Cory Joseph, 2021 second-rounder (via L.A. Lakers), 2024 second-rounder
In the first deal of trade deadline day, the Sacramento Kings acquired Delon Wright from the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Cory Joseph and two second-round picks. Wright, a two-way guard, is averaging 10.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.5 steals this season, while shooting 46.5 percent from the field and 35.6 percent from 3. The 28-year-old has one more year remaining on his deal at $8.5 million.
The Pistons will be the fifth different team Joseph has played for in his 10-year career. The veteran guard is on the books for $12.6 million next season, though it's partially guaranteed.
Celtics could pick up Andre Drummond after buyout
The Celtics reportedly are among the teams that could be interested in Andre Drummond if the Cavaliers buy out his contract. Drummond hasn't played since Feb. 12, when the Cavs reportedly started trying to trade him.
Celtics haven't offered Marcus Smart in Aaron Gordon trade talks
The Celtics reportedly remain engaged in trade talks for Aaron Gordon but have not included Marcus Smart in any deadline package.
According to multiple reports, the Celtics have offered a first-round pick and a young player -- not Smart -- but are unwilling to include a second pick in the deal.

Sixers interested in Powell and Ball
The Sixers reportedly are interested in Raptors guard Norman Powell and Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball. If they grab another shooter and ball handler at the deadline, they could solidify their spot among the Eastern Conference's elite teams.
Bulls listening to Markkanen offers
Multiple teams reportedly have expressed interest in Chicago Bulls forward Lauri Markkanen and Chicago is listening to potential suitors. Markkanen will make $6.7 million in the final year of his rookie contract and would fit under the Celtics' trade exception.
He is expected to become a restricted free agent this offseason after the Bulls and Markkanen failed to agree to a contract extension in December.

The Bucks traded forward Torrey Craig to the Suns, who are keeping pace at the top of the Western Conference with the Jazz and the Lakers. Craig played 21 minutes per game in the postseason between 2018 and 2020.

Houston gets: D.J. Augustin, D.J. Wilson, 2023 first-round pick
P.J. Tucker seemed to be toward the top of most contenders' shopping lists at the 2021 NBA trade deadline. Tucker gives the Milwaukee Bucks a veteran presence who can be a pesky crunch-time defender and threat from the outside. He can also be a valuable postseason commodity with his ability to play center in a small-ball lineup when needed.
The rebuilding Rockets, who at the time of the deal had lost 17 straight games, received a 2023 first-round pick, as well as the right to swap their 2021 second-round pick for Milwaukee’s 2021 first-round pick -- provided the pick falls outside of the top nine. Houston also sends Milwaukee’s 2022 first-round pick that it acquired in a previous deal back to the Bucks.
Ariza, most traded player in NBA history, lands in Miami

Miami gets: Trevor Ariza
The Thunder continued to stockpile draft picks, acquiring a 2027 second-round pick from the Heat along with Meyers Leonard in a deal that sends Trevor Ariza to Miami. Leonard, who played in just three games this season before season-ending shoulder surgery, had to waive the no-trade clause on his two-year contract to facilitate the deal. He reportedly will not be joining the Thunder.
Ariza hasn't played since March 2020 after he opted out of participating in the NBA restart. The most traded player in NBA history, Ariza has now been dealt 11 times -- including three times in one week in November 2020, going from Portland to Houston to Detroit to Oklahoma City.
The Thunder's treasure chest of draft capital through the 2027 draft now includes 17 first-round picks and 15 second-round picks.
